Bitland is a mix of incomplete ideas. I am undertaking a daily sketch project for the entirety of 2018 to help me consolidate ideas, practice my art, and settle on a graphical style. In 2019 I plan to pull it all together and start with Bitland proper.... Meanwhile, I write occasionally about video games and the culture around them on my blog.

So I changed my name to “BitlandComic” (removing an “s” from the end...). This is part of an Internet-wide rebranding from BitlandGaming, and hints at a change of focus coming in the new year. Watch this space.

So you may have noticed, though probably not, that I have updated 134 images over the last few days. These represent my daily sketch project for this year to date. I haven’t missed a day, nor do I intend to. I was sharing them every day on my blog (with a little write up), on Instagram (cropped to a square) and on Twitter. It was a pain, so now I’ve chosen to keep all in one, and only one, place. DA.
I was a member here a long time ago posting portraits and vector art among other things. Under the name funkydoodycool, should you wish to look it up.
